The Amboyna burl belongs to the Padoukwoods and takes its home from the islands of Ambon, an Indonesian province on which it has its main occurrence – it is spread to Africa. The desenly lined measles, the rather coarse, scattered vessels and their 3 dimensionality make you a distinct beauty and thus to a coveted burl veener. Due to its low availability, the Amboyna burl veener is only used in exclusive interior fittings and, for example, at Rolls Royce for fittings.
