The company Rothbucher Furniere GmbH was established 1986 from Herbert Rothbucher in Edling. Herbert Rothbucher grew up with veneers. His father Josef Rothbucher was veneer merchant and largest producer of bog-oak in Laufen (Bavaria). From childhood on, he hold veneers in his hands. This means a headstart in terms of knowledge inside the veneer industry. At the Rothbucher Furniere GmbH we understand and speak the language of the veneer specialists.
How it all started
Veneers as far as the eye can reach
With hard work and constant learning the Rothbucher Furniere GmbH grew steadily. Quickly we had to say goodbye to the pure trade and started to produce veneer. Already 10 years ago, the company entered the American Oak business, since then we produce White Oak veneer flat and rift. Of course, all other Amercian veneers like walnut, cherry an maple will not be forgotten either. Meanwhile we also have quite special treasuries like burl veneers and face-veneers in stock.
Our company with purchase, sales, administration and warehouse is in Edling. Here we have high quality veneer from over 90 types of wood in stock and since 2016 we produce fixed dimensions according to customer requirements.

Herbert Rothbucher gets not into his father´s veneer trade company, he started his own business, the Rothbucher Furniere GmbH in Edling. With hard work and constant learning, the Rothbucher Furniere GmbH grew steadily and was able to significantly expand its market presence.
Karin Rothbucher

Since 1996 Herbert Rothbucher has been expanding his business together with his wife Karin. She is responsible for sales and the customer service, in addition to that, she ensures orderly processes in the warehouse and office.

From childhood on, wood and veneer are naturally part of Benedikt Rothbucher´s life. In 2012 he get into the company as third generation of a veneer merchant. In the company Benedikt Rothbucher is responsible for sales and the cusomer service in the field.

Lisa Leitl

Ms. Lisa Leitl supports our company in marketing and office since September 2017. She is responsible for the support of the homepage, the social media channels, our newsletter and everything related to marketing. In addition, she assumes all the necessary office work such as order processing, customer care, receipt of goods and so on. In October 2018 she got the trainer certificate and is now competent for our trainees.

Erik Schmidt started his apprenticeship as a warehouse clerk at 01.09.2016 and graduated successfully in July 2018 with the exam. Mr. Schmidt is responsible for the complete management of the warehouse, from the goods receipt over the goods storage to the goods issue.
Franziska Rothbucher
WAREHOUSE ASSISTENT
Franziska Rothbucher supports us since 01.04.2019 as warehouse assistent at the division of goods receipt and at the consignment of goods for our customers (outgoing goods). She can also be found at the fixed dimension department, where she cuts, glues, joins and trims veneers according to customer requirements.

Ralf Hiller
WAREHOUSE CLERK | EDGE GLUING OF VENEERS | SALES
With the graduation of the apprenticeship as warehouse clerk 2012, Ralf Hiller acted in different divisions of our company, in the sale, at the delivery of veneer to our customers and as officer for the complete management of the warehouse, from the goods receipt over the goods storage to the goods issue.
Since 2016 he is responsible for the production of fixed dimensions according to customer requirements.
Kristian Schmidt
WAREHOUSE OFFICER
Kristian Schmidt started his apprenticeship as a warehouse officer at 01.09.2017 and graduated successfully in July 2020 with the exam. Mr. Schmidt works in the department of fixed dimensions. He cuts, glues, joins and trims the veneers according to customer requirements.
