The Etimoe is evergreen deciduous tree, it belongs to the family of Fabaceae and comes from West and Central Africa. Because of the strong deforestation, is the Etimoe, just like almost all of the african woods, on the red list of endangered species. It can reach a growth height of up to 40 m and a trunk diameter of up to 1,5 m. Its veneer is mainly used for manufacturing of furniture, panelling, cladding and parquet.
