The Ash comes from Europe and has been counted as one of the most valuable species in the central European woods. After Beech and Oak, the Ash is the most important decisuous wood in the local forests and is therefore also referred to as noble foliage from a forestry point of view. It can reach a growth height of up to 35 m and a trunk diameter of 1 m. The Ash veneer is mainly used in the manufacture of furtniture and stairs.
