The maritime pine, also called bordeaux pine originates from the western Mediterranean Europe. It can reach a growth height of up to 40 m and a trunk diameter of 1 m. For some time now, the maritime pine has been used more and more in furniture construction and fascinates there with its rough, wildly grained appearance. Its veneer is mainly used in the production of furniture, wall and ceiling cladding and as parquet.
