The common maple-leafed plane tree belongs to the family of the plane trees and comes from Europe. It was created around 1650 from the crossroads of the American plane trees and the morning plane trees and is often found here as a park or avenue tree. It can reach a growth height of up to 45 m and a trunk diameter of 2 m. The veneer is mainly used for interior design and in the production of furniture.
