The Spruce is a plant genus of the family of pine trees and comes from Europe and Russia. It is the most important wood supplier in the German forestry and counts as one of the most important German economic wood species. It can reach a growth height of up to 60 m and a trunk diameter of 2 m. The Spruce veneer is mainly used for manufacturing of furniture, parquet, stairs, wall and ceiling cladding.
