The vavone burl comes from the Californian sequoia and usually grows just above the root base of the trunk. Many of these gigantic trees reach a biblical age of up to 200 years and reach a high of up to 110 meters in good conditions on the Coast of California. The vavone burl impresses with its golden-brown to red-brown coloration and the dark burl cores, which are arranged in rowed groups and thus result in a lively but structured veneer image. The veneer of the vavone burl is mainly used in exclusive interior fittings and in the automotive industry.
