The bubinga, also known as „african rosewood“ belongs to the family of Fabaceae and comes from West and Central Europe. It can reach a growth height of up to 40 m and a trunk diameter of 1,5 m. The bubinga has been on the CITES- list for endangered species since October 2016. Its veneer is used in the production of exclusive furniture, panelling, dashboards and vehicle equipment.
