The European Cherry comes like its name already says, from Europe and can reach a growth height of up to 30 m and a trunk diameter of 1 m. The wood of the cherry tree is always preferred when a piece of furniture is characterized by solid and balanced shapes and allows a decorative effect, as in the case of the furniture of the Biedermeier period. The „I can’t see enough of“ or an “excess” is avoided by the more balanced than conspicuous wooden image. The European Cherry veneer is mainly used in the manufacture of furniture, pianos and cladding.
