The tineo, also called „Indian apple tree“ originates from South America, more exact from Chile and has misleadingly nothing to do with India. It can reach a growth height of up to 25m and a trunk diameter of 1m. Because of its attractive colouring, it is used in the interior design and in the production of furniture and parquet.
